Pembroke, Massachusetts, Facility Management Corporation operates 25 public ice skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in long-term partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions.
The company was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations, as well as ice-based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating. We are known as “FMC Ice Sports” and have established a record of quality operations and grown to be the largest operator of public ice arenas in the United States.
Our corporate office is located in Pembroke, MA where our senior management and support staff oversees facility and program operations. We have a management team at each of our 25 arena facilities that hires and manages their own staff in compliance with policies and procedures established by our human resource department.
The company employs from 275-500 full and part time positions. The number peaks during the traditional skating season of September to April and reaches its low during the summer months.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist marketing team members with day-to-day marketing tasks to coordinate marketing projects as requested
Work in conjunction with other marketing professionals to produce and execute marketing and PR campaigns in the arena locations
Engage and interact with skaters and customers on site at arena locations
Engage and interact with customers and community members at local events
Take photographs and videos of FMC programs, NEFS tryouts and games, marketing events, arena events and other activities as assigned
Maintain inventory of digital assets and add new digital assets as needed
Maintain inventory of FMC branded items and place orders as needed
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or related field
1+ year experience in marketing preferred
Experience in ice hockey, figure skating, or other youth sports strongly preferred
Knowledge of ice hockey, figure skating, or other youth sports strongly required
Willingness to engage with the community at large
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
Hybrid – 25% Remove, 75% On-Site with Arena visits and Pembroke, MA
