Chicago, Illinois, IAHSS seeks a creative, flexible, and entrepreneurial full-time marketing and membership program manager. This is a new position for IAHSS. This role will execute and develop our digital strategy to reach target audiences. The right candidate will be able to develop our messaging and deploy omnichannel marketing campaigns. This position is well suited for a mission driven, dynamic, high energy and highly productive marketing professional with good judgment and instincts. Ideal candidates should be intellectually curious with strong analytical skills. This role will be responsible for driving revenue through marketing programs, products and membership. This role will report to CEO.
Successful candidates will bring outstanding writing skills and strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with or managing volunteer committees experience is a plus.
Work Week: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies for organic and paid media channels, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Manages the IAHSS website, custom pages, landing pages and content. com is the host and content management system. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS needed.
Deploy Facebook pixels, Google tag manger and other re-marketing tactics.
Develop keyword strategies and landing pages to support products.
Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns and weekly newsletters.
Develop and monitor campaigns and track campaign performance, budgets and performance, develop reporting.
Analyze email and web KPIs including click-through rates (CTOR), visits, conversion rates and relevant KPIs. Track the ROI of paid channels.
Manage and edit content for the IAHSS YouTube Channel.
Manage fulfillment and tracking of annual conference sponsorships and year-round sponsorships.
Monitor relevant industry news to be shared with the IAHSS community through social media and newsletters.
Draft and distribute press releases as needed.
Serve as staff liaison to IAHSS Chapter Leadership Committee.
Participate in developing and administering programs to recruit and retain members.
Provide backup and support for other IAHSS staff positions as needed, including answering primary phone lines, responding to member inquiries and requests, processing memberships and IAHSS store orders, and other various tasks.
Respond to member/non-member inquiries in a professional, courteous and timely manner
Work with other volunteer led committees and task forces as needed.
IAHSS has a small staff of 4-5 individuals, other duties may be assigned by the CEO to contribute to the overall support and growth of the association.
Participates in the IAHSS Annual Conference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
3-5 years experience, with a minimum of 3 years of marketing automation, email marketing, or related field is required.
Proven experience carrying out impactful digital campaigns that drive valuable results
Experience with association membership strategies strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate good judgment, professionalism, sound application of subject matter expertise; responsiveness in support of the IAHSS mission.
Knowledge of key marketing concepts; membership and engagement metrics; knowledge of AP style.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills are required.
Ability to learn new software and technology is required.
Knowledge of basic web and graphic concepts such as CSS etc. and experience in creating, designing and posting content to Internet and social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) required.
Experience using a web content management system such as YourMembership.com or Drupal is preferred.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Experience with a membership database software (AMS) programs is preferred.

Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Analytical and data-driven – can track the ROI of paid channels
Ideal candidate is Google Analytics, HubSpot or Marketo certified.
Proven excellent written and verbal communications skills
Willingness and ability to stay up-to-date on new digital marketing trends and opportunities
Ability to comfortably organize and facilitate virtual calls/meetings.
Must maintain a positive and energetic attitude toward serving our members.
Ability to work independently with high level guidance to manage several wide-ranging projects.
Reporting Relationship : Reports to CEO
IAHSS has a small, 5-person team managing a wide range of activities and products designed to help our members in their professional careers. Attention to detail, positive attitude and adaptability are essential.
IAHSS is the only organization solely dedicated to professionals involved in managing and directing security and safety programs in healthcare institutions. IAHSS is comprised of over 2,300 security, law enforcement and safety professionals dedicated to the protection of healthcare facilities worldwide.
Location:
IAHSS is seeking a Chicagoland-based employee. If the candidate prefers to work remotely, the candidate is responsible for expenses of working remotely. IAHSS may require your occasional attendance at meetings or functions at its headquarters and is not responsible for your travel expenses to or from headquarters. If IAHSS requires you to travel to other locations or incur hotel charges, the CEO will determine reimbursement in advance of travel.
Annual Salary : Competitive salary based on experience. Salary is paid in bi-monthly payroll.
