Chicago, Illinois, WTTW/Chicago PBS and WFMT/Chicago Classical are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who will develop, manage and execute marketing plans and strategies to increase audience, awareness and engagement on new and emerging platforms.

Develop and execute proactive and strategic marketing plans across paid, earned (in partnership with PR/Communications lead) and owned channels to increase audience, brand recognition, loyalty, engagement, and awareness for WTTW and WFMT.
Plan, contract, and manage securement, placement/fulfillment, tracking of media buys/trades.
Prepare and execute audience analysis, proof of performance reports, presentations, and highlights to supervisor.
Plan, create and manage high-performing search campaigns.
Manage creative development: develop creative briefs, develop, and adhere to marketing calendar, manage approvals for all internal and external stakeholders, and serve as day-to-day liaison.
Identify, create, and manage new strategic marketing partnerships that can be leveraged for audience growth and brand awareness.
Develop, document, analyze and communicate cross-platform quantitative and qualitative research and consumer insights to maximize and measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns; develop visualizations and serve as storyteller, translating complex data into easy-to-understand analysis and recommendations for optimization.
Assemble and maintain a catalog of consumer insights along with industry, category, and competitive learnings.
Create audience segmentation strategies and ongoing view of consumer personas to evolve our messaging and voice as we grow.
Help create and document policies, guidelines, and procedures for organizational brand protocols.
Collaborate with internal creative and communications staff to ensure brand and messaging integrity across platforms and external marketing efforts.
Assist in coordination of selected events and other assigned duties.

Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


3-5 years of marketing management experience
Demonstrated experience creating outcomes-driven visibility and cross-channel marketing plans that integrate with and leverage organizational marketing and communications strategies
Tactical understanding of all media/marketing channels, and experience integrating varied marketing channels into strategies
Expert familiarity with digital advertising with a track record of driving growth; demonstrated understanding of social media and search best practices, algorithms, and campaign execution
Experience with business, strategy, and campaign development and tracking
Demonstrated experience compiling, analyzing, and presenting data

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
